::: Bio :::

OLD COYOTE MOON began as a loose collection of friends jammin' in an old mountain cabin along the banks of the Middle Fork San Joaquin River in 2004, but since 2008 they have become one of the more accomplished bands in the Eastern Sierra of California.

Performing mostly original music written by lead singer and cellist/guitarist David Huebner, the band takes it's inspiration from the wild, rural nature of the surrounding landscape.  Lead guitarist Jon Carlton was at those first jams on the San Joaquin River. He's been playing this music for most of a decade, and his tone seems to come out of a deep well of connection to it. Combine that with Bruce Medhurst on didgeridoo (who will quite simply knock your socks off! And is a biologist bound to save the world!), and Eric Christian, professional sound engineer and phenomenal bass player, and Alex Clayton on drums(who's out keeping you SAFE on Mammoth Mountain all winter) flowing in to create a pyschedelic soundscape that is different every time.

Time Time Time...What?!

Their sound may be described as a combination of the joyful jams of the Grateful Dead, and the lyrical heaviness of Eddie Vedder, with a touch of something otherworldy and entirely new. Improvisation is a staple of their live shows.
